One thing we musicians all agree on is that only "Super Fans" will buy the music of someone when they can stream it for free. These are the people who will not only pick up your music but tell others about it, shouting loudly from every roof top.
But, even casual fans won't buy or stream your music if they cannot find it. When they do find it and stream it, you should get paid every penny you're due to receive.
Too many artists are convinced the song registration issue isn't even a problem!
